When you compare the money you get for your watch selling it on a commission basis to what you'd receive if you sold it to the trade you'll usually get 20-30% more by going down the commission route. If we don't have to invest our money in the watch then we're happy to let you earn the bulk of the money. We work hard for our 10% but what's important is that you feel you've sold it for a fair price.
It's secure.
Once your watch arrives in our office it's fully insured.
It's simple.
The process is designed to be as uncomplicated as is possible with you in total control at every stage. In essence you send the watch in to us, we sell it on the website, you receive a cheque. The full process is as follows.
- Receipt: You're informed by our commission sales manager When your watch arrives.
- Assessment: Having assessed the watch, we will advise you of any refurbishment or servicing work we deem to be necessary.
- Listing: You will then confirm the website sale price with the commissions manager. You will be told exactly how much money you will receive when the watch sells for this price.
- Sale: When the watch sells we will pay you by cheque. If the watch sells through the website we allow the customer 7 days to approve the item. If the watch is bought in our showroom we will pay you straight away.
- Price Negotiation: If we receive what we consider to be a reasonable offer we will contact you and let you know. You will again be told exactly how much you will receive in payment if you decide to sell for this price.
- Price adjustment: If we think that the price of your watch needs to be changed we'll contact you and let you know. If you agree we'll also tell you how much you will receive in payment if you decide to sell for this price.
No expertise necessary.
If you've ever tried to photograph a watch you'll know that it's not as easy as it looks. If you sell your watch for commission we'll make sure that the watch is professionally photographed and listed on the website. If you've managed to photograph the watch you then need to know your way around the computer to get it listed somewhere. Our systems mean we can usually have your watch photographed and listed on the website on the same day that it arrives in our office.

Once your watch is listed on the website it'll be seen by 400,000 different people every month. They're all looking for quality watches and know that any approved pre-owned watch sold on our site has been thoroughly checked and will arrive in immaculate condition.
No Sale - No Fee.
If your watch doesn't need to be serviced or refurbished then the only cost to you will be the 10% commission. If the watch needs to be serviced or refurbished and you decide not to sell the watch with us you'll have to pay the cost of the work before the watch is returned to you. You will be made aware of these costs and that you'll have to pay them once the work has been carried out.
No Hidden Costs.
You're kept fully informed of any additional costs at all stages. Our commission manager will make sure you know exactly how much money you will get when your watch sells. He will tell you if there are any servicing costs to pay, what those servicing costs are and what the remaining balance due to you will be. If we receive an offer on your watch we will tell you exactly how much money you will receive if you decide to accept that offer. If you don't want to accept the offer it's entirely up to you.
No time limit.
There's no time limit involved. The average turnaround for watches on the site is two to three weeks. We can't guarantee that your watch will sell within this period and we will advise you if we think there's a particular reason the watch isn't selling. If we think the price needs to be adjusted we'll make sure you know exactly what's going on.
No Risk of Fraud.
As you can imagine any company selling high value watches on line will attract the attention of people using stolen credit cards. If you're not experienced in dealing with this type of transaction on the internet you could well end up with no watch and no money. We have been in the marketplace since 2000. We have over that time built up a considerable expertise in the area of fraud detection. A combination of this experience and sophisticated software enables us to protect ourselves against fraudulent transactions on a daily basis.
